Ilias Theofilou

Ilias Theofilou, born and raised in Athens on February 12, 1995, graduated from the Department of Physiotherapy of the University of West Attica in 2019 with a very good grade, completing his internship at the General Hospital of Attica KAT. His postgraduate studies followed in 2020 at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in the Department of Medicine on "Rehabilitation and pain management associated with spinal cord injuries", from which he graduated with an excellent grade in 2023. Along with his studies, he participated in various seminars and also participated as a speaker in the 77th Congress of the Hellenic Society of Orthopedic Surgery and Traumatology in 2021 on "Hip Fractures and SARS-COV 2: Research Data and Treatment Strategies" and in the 4th International Congress of Arthroplasty, Orthopedics and Orthopedic Surgery held in Bangkok, Thailand in 2024 on "Gait Rehabilitation Techniques in Incomplete Cervical Spinal Cord Injuries". His professional career started in 2020 in a nursing home where he specialized in geriatric and neurological care. He then moved to a rehabilitation center, focusing on neurological cases, followed by roles in two physiotherapy clinics, specializing in musculoskeletal cases. Since June 2023, he has been residing in Fribourg, Switzerland, where he works at the Centre ITS musculoskeletal clinic, providing treatment for both musculoskeletal and neurological disorders.
